Courtney: Next week we'll be in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
South Carolina is basically where we get ready for the upcoming season.
It's a bunch of games. A lot of practice going on.
You don't really have a break. It's meant for you to get ready, and once you come back
here, you're on the go. Ashley: Our hotel is gonna be right on the
beach. I think we're all really excited for that.
Also to see other teams and how their competition compares to ours.
We hit in the tunnel for an hour every day. We're in here also.
We do a lot of drills and work on a lot of hitting and fundamentals and mechanics to
get us ready. Courtney: We've been going every day, practice
every day. Two hours, two and a half hours, sometimes
three. We hit a lot.
We field in here a lot. Take ground balls.
Building each other up. It's a lot. We talk a lot.
We have pep talks for at least an hour and a half if not more.
A lot of it is just a lot of hard work and just practicing.
Practice, practice, practice. Ashley: Last year we went 5 and 3. We are
playing 13 games instead of 8. So we'll have more games in one day than we
did last year, so I think we should do pretty good.
Courtney: If we keep working hard and we don't let anything discourage us, I think we should
do pretty good. It's just all teamwork really.
