Hi, I'm Candi cane-Canncel with Expert Village. So, in this clip we are going to put our sachet
together. So you have your two pieces and we have stitch the hearts and what we want
to do now is sew the majority of it together and also wants to put the ribbon in. So, I'm
just using satin ribbon and I'm just taking it and folding it in half and I'm using a
piece about eight inches long. You can use shorter piece or longer piece or thicker ribbon
it's up to you. So, you want to two pieces and put them right side together and stick
the ribbon in between. You?re actually going to hang it in between the heart. Place the
other side on and you?re going to go ahead and pin all the way around. Another cool idea
with this is if your into quilting is to actually quilt the pieces first with at little big
of batting and then fill with lavender. It's even more decorative and smelling really good.
In with the ribbon you want to make sure that the ribbons kind of stays out the way so just
push it in and you can pin it in there just to hold it together. In when I'm working with
a shape like this like a heart I like to pin it really very securely using a lot of pins
going all the way around because it is such a odd shape you just want to make sure that
is doesn't slip or slide or anything. I'm going to come down to the point and what we
are going to do is leave a little opening and we are going to leave it on the side here
that will be a lot easier to close it up after we filled it with lavender. Continue to go
all the way around. The next step is actually going to be sewing it together.
