My name is Bo Morgan; I’m from Lexington, KY. I came out here to take the wheel repair
class. I really enjoyed it; I had a great instructor, Ruben. I’m more of a hands-on
learner so I wanted to come here and learn. There’s a little bit of class time but you
move right into hands-on and that’s what I like.
My instructor, he was great, Ruben, he very patient with me. Coming from another line
of work and knowing everything I needed to know about that job and starting something
new, I was kind of unsure of myself but he kept building confidence in you and didn’t
put you down and just really worked with you and had a lot of patience. He was great.
I had a lot of one-on-one. It was good at times but also he was on my, he was looking
on my shoulder every time so a little bit of pressure but that went away after working
with him for about a day. Favorite part about the wheel repair was after
I figured out what I was doing, after 2 days of training, on this 3rd day of being able
to do wheels on an actual vehicle. When you’re working on live vehicle, it was the real deal,
this is no longer on a training rack but everything that I learned the first 2 days, 2 and half
days, just came right into play and never skipped a beat. Seeing that look and that
pop of the clear coat and all the work you did after on a finalized project, it was awesome.
I feel prepared. I’m still going to have to, like anything, do it a few times, or several
times, to get really good at it but I feel confident that I can actually go back to Kentucky
and start my business.
