Before beginning any experiment ....

Dont forget your gloves!
To make hot ice you need just a few ingredients; Sodium Acetate and Water.
You can make sodium acetate with baking soda and vinegar.
Or you can use pure sodium acetate
and water.
You'll also need a pan.
Wait I have to go brush my teeth!
1. Pour 1000 ml (about 4 cups) of vinegar into a pan .
2. SLOWLY stir in 4 teaspoons of baking soda
3. Boil on a medium heat about an hour until a thin skin forms across the top.
You have some time to waste. Go ahead and do a happy dance!
Don't forget to keep an eye on the pot............. You wouldn't want it to burn!

4. Pour mixture into a clean container
5. Refridgerate for about an hour.
Finally, time to test out our supersaturated solution!
Add one more crystal of sodium acetate to the mix and observe the reaction.
