Hey this is Jerimae Yoder with Expert Village today I'm talking about performing solo. Create
a solo tour, in other words go out and tour around yourself. Maybe take one or two other
solo act with you and build it as an acoustic tour where you're going out and you're doing
these solo events in coffee houses and fairs and things like that. Around your region get
to know other solo performers and start to network that way they know a few people who
have venues you know a few people who have venues. Put them together and do a couple
of shows together it's a really good way to start building bridges in your community and
start to play out a lot more. If you do this you guys are going to make more money because
you'll be basically asking for more money as you go out as a group. And you'll be having
a blast with other musicians and getting to know other musicians go for it, get out there
and do it, it's a great way to build who you are and to continue to build your cover songs
and original songs while you're still playing out with other people.
