Hi, I'm Vanessa Gómez, I'm 22 years old and I come from Scouting BCN
How did you start modeling?
Well, I started when I was 15, I went to a casting with my sister, now she is not in the fashion world, it was just a casual casting
and well, an agency saw me and suggested to take pictures, a book, I did a catwalk course,
and little by little I was taken to castings, and well, I started thanks to them.
What do you like about being a model?
What I like about being a model is that I've always liked the fashion world but I've always seen it from the outside, not from the point of a model,
being in front of the camera really called my attention, being the one who is posing and not seeing in magazines some girl that is posing, I like that.
Your best experience as a model?
Well, the most beautiful experience I've had and the most enjoyable has been a tv ad for Pascual Funciona
that was shot in the theme park Port Aventura and well, I had to ride an attraction and I did it like ten times and that day I had gastroenteritis and it was a mess but I really enjoyed the experience.
Something you don't like about being a model?
The truth is there is nothing I don't like, well, if I had to say something is the unprofessional people
that during these years I have been working with, those that don't take the job seriously
and no, you cannot work well with them, but on the other side, I really like working with the professional ones.
How do you prepare for a casting?
For a casting, if they let me know the day before I prepare the clothes, makeup,
more or less revise a bit what the job is about to get prepared, and if the casting is the same day, I ask what the work is about and then I improvise something.
You don't get nervous?
No, never, the truth is I'm pretty calm and I watch with positivism, I go beyond; I try to take myself further.
Do you have a dream?
The truth is that, since I was a kid I always saw Victoria's Secret's catwalks,
I would love them, and we could say it's my goal.
What do you think about the importance of a professional videobook?
I think is very important to create a videobook, it opens many doors,
showing yourself in front of the camera in a natural way and that people and the client can see it, you can show different facets,
I think it's very important.
