awarded a two hundred and fifty million dollar grant to fund education.
This grant came from winning the second phase of the federal government’s Race to the Top program,
and will be divided amongst Maryland’s school districts over the next few years.
This was a momentous event for Maryland’s department of education,
but how did we manage to win the grant?
