Today's the first day of the 'How to Fall in Love' project.
My name's Graham Hicks and I'm the producer of RAWD.
I've been working for the last couple of months
with Tim Jeeves, who is a performance artist, on this project
and making it happen really.
Applying for funding, and working out logistics
and things like that.
Today has been the first day to have all the cast,
the 8 strong cast, in.
All the cast have got a learning disability.
And it's nice today for everyone to meet to make it happen,
today has been really exciting because it’s started.
We want to take the audience on a date, so the audience
basically end up going on a date.
They get split up and go on a date with a random person around town,
with a map, and you meet lots of different characters along the way
and the vision is to kind of make everyone aware of love.
Love’s a beautiful thing and we should explore it a little bit more you know.
So that’s my vision for the project and
working with the guys is just something that I really love
and is a passion of mine.

(Playful shouting - 'No Nicky No!')
My name is Gillian Kershaw and I'm 30.
The project is called 'How to Fall in Love'.
It's the first day today.
My name is Nicky Keary. I'm from RAWD.
Today we worked with Tim.
We talked about relationships, played games and did drama.
My name's Tim Jeeves
and I'm working on the 'How to Fall in Love' project with the guys from RAWD.
The performance is going to be taking place in two parts
and I'm directing the first part which is going to be
a walk through the streets of Liverpool starting off at the Unity Theatre.
I'm Michael Chapman and my job on this project
is to direct the finale of the piece.
I've had a little idea for that,
and I'm looking forward to get cracking on that.
It's a bit of a dream really because I just had to
come up with a completely new idea and
knowing that the title of the piece was 'How to Fall in Love',
that was my theme, and I suppose I could go anywhere with that.
So I thought I'd tell the story of building a relationship
and then building a home, and then building a family,
and that sort of cycle, once the children grow up.
So, that's what I'm going to try and create.
