Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Computer Inc.
had generated billion dollars of profits for the company,
thanks to the selling of iPod and iPhone.
Apple Computer beats Microsoft in term of company value,
and Steve Jobs has now become
the most important leader in the IT field.
However, some people say that
the bigger his business,
the more evil he is.
When a sample of iPhone 4
was acquired by the technology blog of Gizmodo,
Jobs demanded the police to search Jason Chen's (a writer of Gizmodo) residence,
forcing him to "return" the sample.
Recently, there has been some reports
accusing on the factories which OEM for Apple (i.e. Foxconn)
exploiting the staff.
It is believed that Apple's response was too apathetic.
(13 suicide cases in Foxconn staff from January to May 2010)
Many users are not impressed by
the bundled AT&T contract when buying iPhone
and decided to file a class action against Apple Computer.
The latest problem is the reception of iPhone.
But Jobs says the problem is not on Apple's side
Instead, it's that the users' hand
blocking the antenna of iPhone,
causing the drop of signal strength.
It will become okay if the hand doesn't block the antenna.
When Consumer Reports refused to recommended iPhone 4,
refused to recommended iPhone 4,
Jobs realised it's the problem goes awry.
Jobs called for a press conference to explain these issues,
Steve Jobs said iPhone 4
does indeed have reception problem,
but other (brands of) smartphones
all suffer from the same problem.
If users are still dissatified,
Apple will give out cheap antenna covers (bumper? cases?) for free
to fix the problem.
