Welcome to GunSkins.com.
Today, we are working on a Mag Skin install on a 30-round P mag...
but the Mag Skin still works on any 30-round mag.
We want to make sure to clean the mag thoroughly with a light duty de-greaser.
Concentrate on the corners and recessed areas where the dirt and grease would settle.
A clean mag makes for a clean install, guys.
For this install, we are working with our A-TACS AU pattern.
And as you can see our kit comes in a set of three.
You're going to need a heat gun or a blow dryer for this install.
Let's get started.
The kits are labeled "left" and "right" mag skin as if the mag was in the weapon.
First remove the right Mag Skin and place centered on the right side of the mag.
Re-position as necessary.
Press the material onto the mag using your fingers.
Apply heat the material to allow it to easily conform to the edges of the mag.
Now remove the piece labeled "left mag skin" and place centered on the left side of the mag.
Press the material onto the mag using your fingers.
Apply heat to the material to allow it to easily conform around the edges of the mag.
Now let's move on to the most important part...
POST HEAT, GUYS!
Heat the entire mag and press firmly with your hands.
This help solidify the bond between the Mag Skin and the mag...
and to reveal that nice definition in the mag.
And this concludes our install. Thanks for watching guys!
