Spotted! Girlfriend caught cheating on TV, dumped.
Baseball broadcasts often show footage of the audience,
but for some people, this can be a nightmare.
Last week, one man posted an article on an on-line forum
saying that he was watching a live baseball game on TV with his friend,
when the camera panned to show a girl lying on a guy's shoulder.
[Together] Isn't that your (my) girfriend?
While one laughed out loud, the other was totally pissed and called his girlfriend.
She didn't pick up until the sixth call.
When she finally answered, it was quiet, as if she had walked away from the crowd deliberately.
What are you doing now? I am sleeping.
What's the score? It's 2:0.
They broke up the same day.
Even though the article was deleted by the author, his story gained him a lot of sympathy.
Many have quoted the famous quote from sports anchor Hsu Chan-yuan,
"The ball is like a girlfriend who has had a change of heart and will not come back,"
to comfort him.
TV station Videoland TV said that
showing the audience is common in all professional sports broadcasts,
and if such a thing really did happen, it had nothing to do with them.
