>> Moulavi: Hi, It's Doctor Sass Moulavi. At this time you should have already filled
in your intake questionnaire, you should have calculated your BMI and now you're going to
see the presentation and then you're going to start to lose your weight. The intake questionnaire
is very important for you to fill in because it gives your coach and us and idea of where
you are in your weight-loss journey. Please fill it in completely and make sure you review
it with your coach. On the back of your questionnaire is a BMI calculator, where you can calculate
your own BMI. It's simple to do, but if you don't understand how to do it, you coach would
be more than glad to go over it with you. Remember that if your BMI is over twenty-five,
you're considered to be overweight and disease issues begin to happen at a BMI that's greater
than twenty-seven. A BMI greater than thirty is considered medically obesity and we all
know many diseases as associated with a high BMI including diabetes, certain cancers, sleep
apnea and many more that I will not go into. Please be aware that calculating your BMI
is very, very important to finding out where you are in your weight-loss journey. Overweight
and obesity is actually a pandemic, which is even bigger than an epidemic. It covers
the whole world. In the U.S., it kills more people than firearms, in fact, three time
more. In fact, if you associate all those reasons that are caused by overweight and
obesity, such as cancer and so on and so forth, it is the killer of people period. Far more
than anything else. It's sad to say but even medical students discriminate against overweight
people. In a study, medical students said that they would prefer to date an ex-con or
a drug addict before they would date a fat person. That is what's going on in our society
today. You're always being brainwashed to eat more. Food companies are spending billions
of dollars to drive you to eat more and get you addict to food that are really drugs because
they're loaded with far, salt and sugars in order to make you want them more, to crave
them and become dependent on those foods. I'm not even considering other additives that
are being added such as caffeine, preservatives, so on and so forth that even increase your
addicted level. Watching hundreds of commercials, ads, everyday has brainwashed you and made
you into a food addict. The reason you're addicted is that sugar, salts and fats have
been shown to trigger the same type of chemical changes in your brain as many drugs do. Restaurants
are also designed to fool you. Most people underestimate the calories in restaurant meals
by 600 calories. That is significant because if you eat a restaurant just once a week,
you will gain nine pounds a year. Restaurant foods are also very commonly full of addictive
salts, sugars and fats as well as other ingredients such as MSG, you know, it make you more addicted
to the food. You must understand that certain restaurants are designed to make you eat a
lot more food than your body needs. Average sugar intake has skyrocketed in America. In
fact, if we look at intake from 1880, which was only twelve pounds, it is now to over
one-hundred-forty pounds per year. This sugar intake leads to diabetes and we are clearly
seeing the effect of this now with the epidemic of diabetic rates in our country. Sugar addiction
is similar to alcoholism. When you have alcohol, it tastes good and you enjoy it as you're
having it. The same goes for sugar. After you have it you feel ill. Same goes with sugar.
After you have it you don't feel as well. To make yourself feel better, you need to
have more alcohol or more sugar. You get a beer belly or a sugar belly as well. It ruins
your health if you eat too much of it. Same thing with alcohol. We know for a fact that
high-fructose corn syrup, the major source of sugar in processed foods, is treated and
processed just like alcohol in your liver. You've been trained to eat wrong. You've been
trained to eat three meals a day. That is due to the food industry and institutions.
As institutions begun, it was much easier to feed people three times a day in hotels,
in schools, in the army. So, people started eating three times a day, but our digestive
systems are really designed to eat multiple meals throughout the day. That's how primitive
man ate, and our digestive systems have not changed for thousands of years. Smart for
Life method basically takes the big food spikes, if you had a breakfast of bacon, eggs and
bread and spike your blood sugar, Smart for Life takes that breakfast, breaks it down

fact. Once they enter your body, they stay in your body for many, many years. They get
stored in multiple different tissues, especially fat tissues and cause diseases cancer, ADD,
autoimmune problems, fatigue and many more diseases to mention here have been clear links
to pesticides and toxic preservatives. Smart for Life uses sixty-percent organic ingredients

and remixed and heated and reheated until it really loses a lot of its essence and a
lot of its goodness. Junk food is processed food that is even worse than processed food
because it really has no real food in it, as well it has a lot of hydrogenated fats,
chemicals and preservatives and a lot of white flour. So, now that you have a definition
of junk food and processed food lets move on. Most food you eat is processed. Modern
supermarkets carry over 47,000 products and the majority of these products are processed
and full of toxic colors, additives and preservatives. And believe it or not, most products are made
by just a handful of companies who are specialists in delivering them beautiful boxes so that
they look so good and healthy that if you really read the ingredients and the ingredient
label you will see that they are not. At Smart for Life, we use whole natural ingredients
