Hi everyone, welcome to Ekhart Yoga, my name is Esther
and today i just want to show you a very simple move you can do anytime throughout
the day to improve your posture it's a move we use a lot in yoga
so it's very simple rotating the upper arm bones out or so just rolling the upper arms out
your lower arms just follow along
your shoulders move onto the back your chest opens and you get immediately
more air so I will show you the difference what it looks like from the side
so if you face this way if you are
standing without awareness most likely most people the shoulder still sort of
hunch forward a little bit you don't see it from the front you see it from the sides
so to counter act that
to improve your posture again all you need to do is just role
those upper arms out opening your chest shoulder blades
on the back and everything changes even the neck changes from doing that
so to make sure you're not over doing it in your ending up with your chest
all the way open then you're going to soften you're front ribs so two actions
rolling
the upper arms out softening the front
ribs
and then your chest is open your lungs are open
air the take in off air increases and you will feel
suddenly better you don't only look better but you feel better OK I hope
it's helpful for you and let me know the change it will bring in your daily life
it is something you have to state it
throughout the day every time you think about it remind yourself to
open up rolling the upper arms out
softening the front ribs
Let me know, thank you for joining me. Namaste
