Part of being a better player is being a better fan. That is why we are doing the show!
According to ESPN the President of third division Spanish side Cartagena said they were regulated
from Spain’s Segunda division last season because six of his players were betting against
their own team.
Here’s my reenactment of how betting against your own team would go down.
We are losing guys, let’s pick it up!
Shoot, we lost! Great game everyone
I’m rich!!! Whoo hoo! We lost 5-1! Make it rain!
French international Frank Ribery was confronted by a fan who managed to sneak past security
at his club’s training ground.
Would you like some candy?
Stranger! Stranger! Stranger Danger!!
The intruder told Frank “we need to talk”. Frank said “about what!”
Apparently this intruder left a dog for Ribery outside the training ground prior to this
incident with a note that read, “Frank, I am sorry, but I don’t know who to turn
to.”
Frank told security next time he may bring a knife. Easy Frank I’d be more worried
this animal lover may bring you a bunny next time! Not a knife!
I assure you one thing Frank, your Stranger Danger friend won’t bring you Ming!
Seattle Sounders and US Men’s National Team midfielder Brad Evans posted this photo on
Twitter yesterday of his teammates saying “Happy Valentines Day from the Most Beautiful
Van”.
Reminds me of the video of the Harvard Baseball Call Me Maybe Cover…
Where ya think your going baby! Hey I just met you and this is crazy! So call me maybe!
Messi’s name is now in a Spanish dictionary. The word “inmessionante” according to
OffThePost.info means “the perfect way to play football, an unlimited ability to self
improve. Describes the best player of all time”.
I wonder what my name would be like in a Spanish dictionary.
inJaredionante! – the perfect way to do a little dap, an unlimited ability to say
Believe in it®. Describes best youtuber in an orange shirt of all time.
Messi’s 85 year old teammate David Villa injury was released from the hospital recently
after he had surgery to remove a kidney stone. He remains in doubt to play in his next two
games but he will keep fit with Barca’s over 80 league!
Just kidding David! Glad you are okay and welcome back!
Congrats on US Women’s National Team player Abby Wambach on earning her 200th cap. She
did so in style scoring the game winner in the US’s 3-1 win vs Scotland in Nashville
Wednesday night.
Wambach = Baller!
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a nice header in the 1-1 Champions League draw Wednesday with
Manchester United. Ronaldo has some serious ups!
The Online Soccer Academy team and I were working while we watched Wednesday’s Champions
League game at the Training Ground… that’s our home/office and at one point I was like,
“Does Ronaldo wear make up?
His face just looks perfect. I did some google searching on if Ronaldo wears make up and
seems like other people have that question too.
We are on? Oh sorry….
According to a Yahoo answers user named Vegoly the answer is yes!
That’s investigative journalism if I ever saw investigative journalism before.
Let’s poll it! Do you think Ronaldo wears make up during games? Click here for yes!
Soccer Girls Problems on Twitter re tweeted Georgia Southern’s #16 Lindsay Hammer’s
tweet, great name by the way, that said, “Who needs chocolates when you can get heart shaped
ice bags!”
Lindsay gets our Soccer is Life Pic of the Week for that one!
Online Soccer Academy player Shiv Patel sent me a link on Facebook to a video of him spinning
a ball on a pen while the pen is in his mouth!
Say what!
That’s pretty cool if you ask me! Check out his video by clicking the picture!
To learn how to do that trick because I know I can’t teach it click here and you can
watch my friend Dara at YourHowToDo teach you in one of his tutorials.
Our last pic comes from Maria Yang who sent in a user submitted photo of her rocking her

Obviously the beanie comes in handy for Maria as she lives in snow covered Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Love how hard knock she is rockin the short sleeve Packers jersey! I’d be in a snuggie
personally if I was in that pic!
