Welcome. My name is Lars Erik Robinson. My company is LarErs Arts: All Around Art-tainment.
I have 15 years experience since I've been out of art school. And pointalism is something
that you use that I want to talk about. We can actually inter-relate this with something
you've already done that has line work. But sometimes there's artists out there that actually
do everything in pointalism. So for example, if we have the shadows here from this eye,
and it's just coming out like that, it creates an effect of actually shadows just like we
did this. This was cross-hatching. Now if we just have points, they're thicker, bigger
points and smaller points. As you can tell, it gives it a shadow effect, just like that.
Now if we're going to use that in a regular art, usually that's a good place to do it
is where you will see, this looks more like a guy right here. Maybe you didn't shave,
and that's where I normally would use pointalism in my work or try to create texture there.
So pointalism is something that's usually used, as far as I'm concerned I don't sit
there and do pointalism on all the work. But pointalism is a technique that can be done
either all the way with points, which if you can imagine, all this was low dots done like
that. Very tedious work, and it takes awhile to do it. But it's something that you can
use all the time. Thank you guys so much. I hope you enjoyed it.
