Okay, this is a basic pattern I came up with to incorporate my feet to a very simple warm
up such as using quarter notes and eighths and incorporating doubles and singles. All
it is with the hands is just this--one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. One, two,
three, four, one. Okay, so, the second measure I was using doubles to play my eighth notes.
You could also alternate that with singles. So you go one, two, three, four, one, two,
three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. So every other time, I'm either
using doubles or singles to play the eighth notes. You add the feet to patterns such as
this--one, two and three, four, one, two and three, four, and one, two, and three, four,
and one, two, and three, four. And you have that. So, you can continue to do that if you
relax, you can eventually speed the pattern up a little bit.
And so on and so on. And eventually it can be much faster than that even.
