Hello, I'm Audrey Parramore, thebeadingdr.com. I'm your beading expert and I'm here to show
you how to make a Christmas ornament. Things that you're going to need to make your Christmas
ornament is going to be just a little small assortment of beads, I say holiday colors,
your reds, your greens, have fun with it. As you see in this ornament you have angel
wings which are fun to make. I actually used a wire wrapping technique to create a halo
over top the angel. Basically you'll need sterling silver wire or any type of metal
too, okay, so it's not too expensive. And I add a piece on the wire on this I use a
piece with a smaller hole because as you can see in this larger opal bead that I used you
know I do not want it to fall off the wire and then I'll insert that onto the wire, that's
the body of your piece. Then I'm going to give the piece a little neck, and actually
add the face to your Christmas ornament that you're going to be able to hang onto your
Christmas tree and give it holiday cheer. And I'm going to add a smaller bead up at
the top. And I'm actually going to use a pair of round-nose pliers and actually wire wrap
the piece and that's how I get the halo. I take the piece of wire and I just wire wrap
it. In wrapping I actually switch hands to wrap the wire gently around, I use my right
hand so I'm using my left hand to hold the piece 'cause I need my right hand since I'm
right handed to you know give it a nice little wrap, carefully. Then I'm going to take the
needle-nose and I'm going to finish it. Just wrapping it. Give it one more little snug.
And now I'm going to do my little fun thing creating a halo, I just take my needle-nose
and I bend that loop down to give it a nice cute little halo. So you can hang it on your
tree. And there you have it. A beaded Christmas angel. Audrey Parramore, your beading expert,
