A snack that I really, really enjoy especially if I'm up late and I am really hungry. I don't
want to eat something that is really bad for me but I need something that's a little bit
filling. Some shredded wheat crackers that are really good for you they're high in fiber.
They're very low in fat anywhere to 3.5 to 4.5 grams of fat per serving which is, I think,
about eleven crackers. You can go into your normal grocery store and you can find them
anywhere. You can either go organic, which I prefer best but you don't have to do organic.
I mix it actually; I make it with a little bit of hummus, this one's green olive. I put
a little bit of hummus on here, it's really good for you, and it?s made from chickpeas.
You know good vegetables, something that you can add into your diet or your lifestyle system
that's healthy for you and tastes really good. You're going to put a little bit of zucchini
on there, very delicious. I can actually also, carrots are also really good one that I like
to use with hummus. The roasted red pepper is actually my favorite get it in there, a
little hummus on some carrot, healthy snacks really good, really filling. Carrots are actually
a little bit high glycemic and so a way to actually make them a little bit lower is to
add a little bit of hummus or actually have some Triscuits with them; and what the glycemic
index is the effect that sugar has on you in some levels. So anything, that's high processed
or refined sugar.
