so that is the YBox or should i say Microsoft Ybox one ^^
it is a 8cm cube (take 10x12x13cm when slanted this way) which would have an "RT" version of Xbox one OS
because it have a tegra 5 clocked at 3GHz so no Xone games but everything else and WindowsPhone games (+maybe X360 games since tegra 5 is powerfull enough)
the corner on the ground is weighted so it stay stable overall would weight 3kg (for a quality feel as well)
it won't have kinect cameras but still kinect microphone features
this circle at the middle is a large volume wheel and the ring around change color with volume level (would be off when idle and could signal some other things)
because it would mostly be for multimedia it have a remote with Xone buttons (just no joysticks) + a tactile circle for volume and maybe some gestures too
it is 11x6x2cm but you can also plug a keyboard/mouse or gamepad using the 4 front USBs or bluetooth
the storage on it is pretty special because it is over SD cards you can plug up to 4 SD cards in there (so up to 512Go for now)
there is only 1 screw at the bottom, retaining the top and it have a real fan and heatsink even if it is ARM because tegra 5 should be pretty high TDP and is OCed here but perform really great for a fine price ^^
talking about price 64GB vers should cost 200€ 256GB 300€ (with 2x 128GB SD cards)
the front PCB have the volume wheel/lights, kinect mic front USBs, wifi antena, battery and some random chips :3 (the antena is big just to fill the empty space and the weird cuttings are for the screw)
left PCB have power components/plug SD cards slots ethernet optical and audio jack right PCB have the tegra 5 and it's heatsink RAM (1GB) OS storage (8GB) 2x USB HDMI in and out
you better have enjoyed the 1080p renders here cause my PC was working a whole week 24/7 :p
next video should be about next GPUs and CPUs :) i will show you what i did so far and ask you for ideas so, ready your body
