Hello Everybody! Everything good? Who are talking here is the Gugarts.
We will be giving our continuing series of tutorials Retas Studio.
I apologize for the delay, is a little tricky to find time for tutorials and make everything right.
But, here we go.
I've watch that tutorial is going to be a little big, but it will be necessary for me to explain everything right for you.
Here we go, let's start by opening the Stylos.
Let's starting here, clicking (File) > (New) > (Scene Folder)
Here we will create our scene, save to desktop...
title here...
We use a preset that I taught to create in the previous video.
Who has not seen the previous video, watch it because it will help quite how it works here.
How to create your preset.
I'll use the one I created.
Here you set the number of layers.
Okay, all right.
Here you set the number of frames. 1sec = 24 frames, or the amount of frames here.
But this I can change later, so do not have much importance in the case.
Folder Name here.
Here he open the X-Sheet, the configuration that will be of the frames.
But then I'll be explaining better, I'll close now.
Now I press the (Enter) to hide these windows.
First, we go in here (Show menu) > (Settings)
Here we choose which format we want the program to save by default.
Here we can choose between PNG and others. It will save in PNG with alpha channel, with transparency.
In this too, but this format is only recognized by Stylos and other programs Retas Studio.
To work with Vector Layers, you have to use this option.
If you wanted to work with PNG, but will have the transparency will be a raster layer.
You will not be able to line settings that I taught in the first tutorial.
Bend the line, erasing every line in vector.
More explanations are all in the first tutorial, any questions, just say also that I'll try to help.
Leaving marked these options, let's OK.
Here you will create your frames.
In section (Keys) you will create keyframes.
And here you have two Layers.
And there will be a section to create Inbetween frames.
Just in case you want to work more professional.
Because if you're doing an animation alone, can go in and create Inbetween all frames.
Or you can come in and make the Key keyframes and then add more frames to smooth the Inbetween movements.
But as this is only a test, I'll do in Inbetweens at the layer (A).
We will use only one layer, and here is like a timeline.
Getting as Flash, Photoshop and other animation programs.
Now here, this will be my timeline.
To create the frames, I can do in several ways.
One is by clicking here on the first frame twice.
Done, he creates my first frame.
I can, minimize here, maximize, press (Enter) to open my hidden windows.
And I can start drawing.
Another way, I click on the first frame, pressing (Shift) and click on the fifth.
After I click up here, or with the right click in any of the frames and go on (New) > (Cel).
Here as the settings all right, I click OK.
Wait, I think it will not work. o.o''
Ok, now go. =D
Done, he created all my frames.
Otherwise, I will delete them here before.
The other way is to come up here, with the first frame selected.
I click on (New) and choose the amount of frames that I want.
For example I want to create 5 frames ... I can also create more frames later.
Done, here are my 5 frames created.
Now I'll work on my frames.
Here I press (F10) to do this (File Previewer) appear.
I minimize the File Browser.
Remembering, here is the (File Previewer) and I created my frames in (Inbetween) on the first layer.
Increase in here for you to see.
Can I work with the other layers here, keyframes, inbetweens and everything.
But as I am working with the first, so I leave here, to get better to view.
And give 2 clicks on the first.
Maximize the first frame.
And this is my first frame... in the case.
How you can see, i'm working with pixels for now.
And I set the same shortcut keys to increase and decrease the brush in Photoshop.
It helps me a lot.
Remembering that I can work with pressure checking that option.
This you can test yourselves.
I'll make my first frame.
I'm not doing anything too complex, it is only a demonstration.
Wow, was crap, it looks that it is just a ball.
A ball, not too perfect.
This is my first frame.
Now I can move on to my second frame, pressing here.
Next Cel.
Or pressing the shortcut keys.
The shortcut keys are the ones I am showing on the screen.
It's more easy.
Ok, as you can see I'm on my second frame as you can see here with this indication.
Up here too, I'm working on my second frame.
To see my previous frame
I give a click in previous frame.
And once click here (Load to Light Table).
To load this first picture here, my light table.
Load, ok!
I'm working on the second frame, but I'm getting to see the first frame.
You see it is a different color.
I can come here and messing with settings and change the opacity and go testing several things.
Here I can work in the opacity, I'll leave in 30%.
Now I'm going to do the second frame.
I can click here to move to the next frame.
Now I am working in the third frame.
But I'm still viewing the first frame here.
I can come here, in the light table (1 frame) and by clicking here, and I can switch to (frame 2).
But I can even with the (frame 1) still there, I can load another table light (frame 2).
Automatically creates with 50%.
I can change here to get better.
And in the (frame 3) i can continue my draw.
Now I'll create another frame.
Next cel, i'm working now on (frame 4).
Can i create another light table.
Now i'm working with 3 light tables.
One is representing the (frame 1), (frame 2) and frame 3).
I can also change the position of it by clicking here.
I am setting the position of the first frame.
So I can move it the way I want.
By clicking here I make it back to his initial position.
Here I flip it horizontally and vertically here.
Initial position, deselect here.
Now i'm on (frame 4)
Now I go to (frame 5)
If you notice he dropped the opacity, since I'm creating that many light tables.
Creating another frame.
I will create two more frames here.
So I click here in this space in black would be the (frame 6).
I give it 2 clicks, it will create (frame 6)
Or click here in this space in black, and click here New Cel.
I can give 2 clicks here and jump to the (frame 7).
Moving here in light table to try to see (frame 6).
Here gave a small bug, so I can try to fix by clicking here (refresh)
Fail xD
Let me clear this light table, I Particularly not like working with so many light tables.
In this case, I just want to see my (frame 1) and (frame 6).
I can reduce the opacity of 2 simultaneously.
I'm working on frame 7.
Okay, now ready my super complex animation.
I now go see it, is it possible here?!
Yes. lol
It was a little fast because I'm viewing it at 24fps and I only have 7 frames.
It's time to show how the x-sheet works.
For me to organize the frames.
Double cick here.
I press (Enter) to hide the other windows, to have focus here.
Much attention.
Here is the X-sheet, where I organize my frames to make the animation.
since I did 7 frames, I need to insert more frames here.
Remembering that I did my drawings in the (Inbetween) and the on the first layer (A), then I need to organize everything here.
In this column
I can arrange this 1 to 1.
Like this, 1 (Enter), 2 (Enter), 3 (Enter), 4 (Enter), 5 (Enter), 6 (Enter), 7 (Enter)
If I want to put one that I do not draw, for example 8...9, will be that color.
Are marked as drawn.
These here are totally blank, since I did not draw anything in them, these frames do not exist.
Let go, I'll show you an example, I will repeat here.
1, 2, 3... ops... write up here... 4, 5, 6, 7.
Click here on (Motion Settings Check)
If too large, you can set up here, I leave at 50% and is almost in full screen here in my case.
Margin color, background color ...
Leave this option checked, so it will make the preview of the (Inbetween).
If your mark here, he will do this Preview to side.
So let go, (Inbetweens) leaves these options checked, OK.
So I click here,, Motion Check.
Now, I want to get this moving a little slower.
If I click two times here, I'll open frames.
I will delete, hold the (Shift) and press (Delete)
I'll do the manual way, as I want the animation to run slower, at 12fps.
I will press, 1 (Enter) (Enter), 2 (Enter) (Enter), 3 (Enter) (Enter)
4 (Enter) (Enter), 5... 6... 7... (Enter)
Okay, now I have twice as many frames, it will repitir the first, second and so on
Now i go here, Motion Check.
Already see that the animation has been a little slower.
It is running at 12fps, even down here saying that is 24fps, since I have double the frames.
Press Esc to close
Now I'm getting it on the automatically mode.
Knowing that I'm going to use 14 frames, I click on the first and (holding Shift) click on the top, then click with the right button in any frame.
Click here, Automatically Empty Cel Number.
Here I have 7 Cels (frames).
From 1-7 ... (I can make mistakes, let's see if I can make it right lol)... 2 frames, repeat 2.
From 1 to 7, he is going to do 1 twice, 2 twice, 3 twice...
And the number of repeating it will be two.
He will do 1 1 2 2 3 3 ... 7 ...
No. .. in case it is only a repetition, then let 1 here.
OK
Okay, he did everything automatically from 1 to 7.
So I click here to see the preview of my animation.
Good, so I can finish the video tutorial.
You can do click here
You select the project you are working on.
And click here that he will export.
In case it will export directly to Paintman to perform painting.
But in the next lesson I will still talk a little more Stylos explaining how the Shadow Mark.
What is the preparation for coloring in PaintmanHD.
So you will create a line that will seperar part that will become darker part that will stay light.
Tone of colors of clothing, skin ... work on the lighting of your character or any other element in your animation.
You can also come here (File)> (Export), export to SWF.
It will save a SWF file that will be recognized in Flash.
So, it will open in the Flash timeline that frames here.
If be interesting this process for you and so you click export.
I'll Show me again (File)> (Export)> (SWF)
And press OK, I'll export to show.
He exported here, and created a folder with a different name.
And created this file here, the SWF.
You will drag the first file here for Flash, which is the first layer.
If you have Adobe Flash.
Trial version, or pipipitchu or Jack Sparrow. lol
Then it will recognize the frames.
Well guys, that's it for now, I will now concluding my video tutorial.
Hope you enjoyed it, and it has been helpful.
In the next lesson I will be showing how to export it to Paintman.
I'll be showing how to do the painting and shading. Prepare the shading here in Stylos and throw for Paintman to speed up the process of painting.
So you will see how the painting process here in Retas Studio.
And in the last video tutorial I will be teaching how to do the basic in the CoreRETAS.
What will be exporting PNG sequence or any video format, and I'll show you how.
Well folks, that's it, hope you enjoyed the video tutorial.
I hope it was good help.
