Hi! I'm Erin and you're watching Expert Village. Today, we're going to be working on how to
do a bruise. Now we are going to blend the darker area in the middle. Like I said, don't
pull it out too much because the red is usually a bruised area. It's got more of the red around
it and more of the darker colors on the inside. Like I said, you still want to keep the little
dots, the stipple dots, in there for the busted capillaries. You just want to press lightly.
Just kind of go in, and this is how you're going to blend. I'm blending up into the eye
socket area too. Usually it will kind of drain into that area. It's looking good. If you need to maybe add
a little bit more red again just for the effect, you can go back and add some more red. Blend
those out so you don't have any edges or streaking. Make sure you don't have any really strong
dots either. Alright, there you go. You've got a blended bruise.
