Despite the fact that 'Dallas' was cancelled more than 15 years ago
there's still a huge interest in the show. The stores sells Dallas DVD's
and T-shirts and online 1000s of Dallas fans meet daily to discuss
the show at the official board. There people who have been fans
since 1978 meet new fans who have just discovered the show.
Dallas still means a lot to the fans and when they heard of the reunion
at Southfork with their idols a lot of them knew that they had to be there.
The reunion also meant a lot to the Dallas cast who were grateful for
their fans loyalty when they greeted their guests from the balcony.
Some fans also went on a helicopter ride with Larry Hagman.
While the other stars got a warm reception at the red carpet
where the media and the fans competed for their attention.
The stars enjoyed the attention and were happy to talk about
their memories from the filming.
The highlight of the evening was when the cast answered their
fans' questions from the presentation stage.
After the Questions & Answers session they auctioned off paintings
of the cast that raised 1000s of dollars for charity.
The cast also received the key to Parker by the town's mayor.
The party ended around 10.30 at night with fireworks and singing
by the lovely Audrey Landers.
The fans then left the ranch with memories that will last a lifetime.
