Hi, My name is Darrel We understand that in many situations, employers
have staff in multiple states and territories. As a State based tax, Payroll Tax can sometimes
become an issue. Whilst legislation and rulings about the various
elements of payroll tax are predominantly harmonised, there are still some legislative
and administrative differences between the states and territories.
With this in mind, the Revenue Offices from each of the States and Territories in Australia
have collaboratively developed a series of webinars to explain how payroll tax works,
highlighting any differences and similarities between each state.
Throughout the year, you will be able to participate any of our sessions covering a range of payroll
tax topics from the comfort of your office. The webinars will provide you with access
to comprehensive content relevant to all States and Territories in which you may employ. Each
webinar will be attended by subject matter experts from each revenue office who will
be contributing to the session and be able to answer questions you have about payroll
