Now we're going to give our apple a bite so let's take a look at it here. This is what
we're going to do. We're going to come down here and let's grab, that's a, oops. Let's
turn that layer back on. Let's grab our lion layer. What we're going to do is we're going
to do a lot of modifying here. We want to get rid of everything here except for the
mouth. We want to keep the mouth. So let's go into our Erase tool. Go into E and let's
bring it up some. Actually, let's bring it up just quite a bit because we are going to
get rid of most of this picture here because we don't need it. Not to do what we're going
to do. There we go. We kind of got close there but not so worried about it. There we go.
Now let's come in here and let's take it down a little bit. What we're going to do is we're
going to kind of Fade Erase this too but first let's get a little bit more in here like so.
Like that. What I want to leave is I want to leave just a little bit of highlight here
to give it that plausible reality that we're going to add to it. So, do it like so. There
we go. Let's take this down. We don't really need this here. Alright, like so. That looks
pretty good. Let's go ahead and save our project because we need to be saving every other key
stroke because I used to work on really bad machines that would crash on you after almost
everything. So, let's click Control-Deselect here. Let's leave this like this and what
we're going to do is we're just going place this on top of the apple here. And as you
can see we haven't gotten rid of quite everything on this apple. So what we need to do is take
our Magic Wand out by hitting W and click on our Apple In Hand layer, after we hit Enter.
Apple In Hand layer with our Magic Wand. W. Select that, delete that. Let's come up here
and let's delete that. Let's go ahead and get right there in the fingers and delete
that. There we go. And we're going to go Command D to Deselect it and we're going to stop here
and pick this up on the next part.
