your senior pictures should be a good mix of standing up, sitting down, and
laying down poses. in this video we're going to talk about laying down poses
specifically. let's get started!
start in a sitting position on your hip with your legs kicked off to the side.
next, you can lay down on your elbow, and from there you can lay all the way down
either with your hand on your neck or in your hair
you can try having your head straight up or you can tilt your head off to the
side and let your hair fall
another option is to lay on your stomach with your feet cross behind you
you can do one shot with your hands down or you can do another with your hand up
by your face
make sure that you don't lean on your hand though and smash your face just
have it lightly resting on your face
ladies definitely watch out for cleavage with this pose, if the shirt you're
wearing isn't right for it
you can still do this pose by just lightly having your hand across your
chin.
lay on your back to try a few different angles with your hands in your hair
a good photographer will be able to tell you if your elbows are at a weird angle
or if your chin is to high or too low.
they'll also be able to help you find the best angle for this pose
lay across a few steps looking up towards your photographer for a unique
and different angle
the most important part about laying down poses is that you're comfortable. if
you're not comfortable it will show up in your photos.
it's always easiest if you have a photographer with experience who can
direct you in these poses and even demonstrate the poses for you so that
you know exactly what you're doing
