Hey guys! So today I have a review for you on zennioptical.com. Before I actually, like,
dive into this review, I just want to throw out there that I am not being paid for this
at all, I bought everything with my own money, but I just wanted to do this review because
it's actually... this is actually really, really cool and I wanted to actually get the
word out there for those of you who have awful eyesight like I do. I can't see very well.
I don't see very well at all, I've had to wear glasses since like, 6th or 7th grade
and I am like, almost twenty one years old so I've been wearing glasses for a good chunk
of my lifetime. If you wear glasses, you know that they're expensive. They can be super,
super expensive, and, you know, I used to get my glasses at Costco because that's where
-- they have like, an eye department in it that I would go to too, and I would just get
my, um, I would just get an exam and everything just right then and there. I left the exam
room and I looked at the glasses that they had on display, just to see, you know, kind
of try it on your face and everything and see what looks good and get ideas for, you
know, what kind of glasses you want, and I think the cheapest pair of glasses that I
tried on at Costco was like seventy-five bucks for one pair of glasses. Basically, glasses
are not cheap and I don't like to buy glasses because I just want the functionality of them,
I really don't care, you know, for brands or anything like that I just need glasses
so I can see in front of my face. And contacts are getting expensive too! I have yet to come
across cheap contacts, and actually, that's kind of one of those things that I might want
to pay a little bit more for just because you're putting them in your eye. Anyway, I
was researching websites that exist that sell glasses online. I didn't want to pay, like,
a hundred dollars for one pair of glasses because I just can't afford that. I googled
like, "cheap glasses reviews" or something online, I don't actually remember what I googled,
but a lot of people were suggesting zennioptical. I was a little bit skeptical because paying
this amount of money for these glasses is, I feel like I'm stealing something. Like,
anyway, they were cheap! I kind of just was like "hey, I'll just order a few pairs of
glasses because getting a few pairs of glasses is cheaper than getting one pair in real life!"
So I ended up ordering three different kind of glasses, three pairs of glasses. No, that's
six. Three pairs of glasses. From zennioptical.com and from beginning to end, from when I ordered
it to when I was holding them in my hands, I think it took a little bit over a week.
I'd have to double check that, but it didn't take that long. That's because they have to
manufacture your glasses in your prescription, and then they have to send it out of their
warehouse, so it does take a little bit of time. When I did get my order in my hands,
it was in a, it was a bubble wrapped envelope. You open up the bubble wrap, and I got three
different cases, two of them are dark green and one of them was light blue. I also got
two pupillary distance tracker things. And how these work, when you order your glasses,
you do have to put in your prescription and everything but then you also have to put in
your pupillary distance. You can ask your eye doctor for this and they'll give you,
they'll give you your pupillary distance, or you can figure it out with a friend, um,
just by putting like a ruler up to your nose and like, measuring the distance between your
pupils. But they give you these little like, pupillary distance rulers which is pretty
cool and I wish I kind of had these before cause I sort of guesstimated on my pupillary
distance. I shouldn't have done that. You shouldn't guess on that. You should just get
it from your doctor, eye doctor. So the first pair of glasses I got, it just looks like
this, the case and everything. You open it up, and it's kind of stuffed with stuff, really.
The glasses did originally come in a plastic bag. Inside the plastic bag there is a card
that says "Thank you for buying glasses with zennioptical.com, zennioptical.com." And then
on the back it says "Global price and online volume leader for prescription eyeglasses
from six dollars and ninety five cents." Um, and then there's a phone number, and like,
a website you can contact them. And in the plastic bag is also a cleaning cloth to clean
your glasses. And the bottom of the case looks like this. So these are the actual glasses,
they come wrapped up in the cleaning cloth like this inside the plastic bag that I just
showed you. And these are my first pair of glasses. So you can see they're just black
rectangular glasses, they're very basic, and I kind of look like a librarian when I wear
them, so that's cool. So this is what they look like when I'm zoomed out a little bit,
um, my right side, my left side, and straight on. They are a little crooked, however, my
ears are crooked, they always have to adjust them for me. This is how they look when they're
upright. If I wanted to I could probably go get them adjusted but, honestly, I don't think
I'm going to do that just because that is a lot of work. This one comes with a bag full
of the nose bridge pieces, I don't know if you'll be able to see that, so it comes full
with the nose bridge pieces, these are the little pieces that sit on the bridge of your
nose, obviously, and little screws and everything to keep them in place. It also comes with
a keychain screwdriver thing to kind of screw those nose pieces in. These are the glasses.
This one just gives me a lot stronger headaches than I was expecting it would so, um, it's
definitely going to take some getting used to, and uh, I'll probably, unfortunately,
not wear these ones as much as the other two. I like the way it looks on my face because
it's very non-distracting compared to the other two. I don't know, something about them
doesn't seem quite right compared to the other ones. Also, these ones, there's no hinge right
here on the edges of them, which means I can't close them. So they have to kind of stay outward
like that. They're very light, like, they are extremely light, and they feel fragile,
however I don't think they are fragile. So this is how these glasses look from afar,
this is my right side, my left side, and straight on. And these are the last ones that I ordered.
And these are probably my personal favorite and I know that they're Blake's favorite,
Blake loves these ones and I just think that's so funny. This is what they look like. These
are the ones I lovingly refer to as my hipster glasses. These ones, they are a little bit
wide, I don't know if you can tell. I can't see anything. You can see that it doesn't
come out like this, so it doesn't hug my face is I guess what I'm trying to say. A couple
things that I have noticed about this pair of glasses though is that they slide down
my nose very easily, so I do have to do like the I have to push them up. Blake calls me
a nerd when I wear them but I think he means it lovingly. So this is how they look from
afar, my right side, my left side, and straight on. All in all, my order seems to be awesome.
For sixty, like, sixty-ish bucks I got three pairs of glasses that are all relatively like,
good. The only one that I'm worried about is the un- um, the un-lined one, I guess,
the ones with no rim around them. The two black rimmed ones, this one and the rectangular
ones are awesome, like these are awesome glasses. I can see clearly again, the rain is gone.
So if you're like me and you don't like spending like, over one hundred dollars for one pair
of glasses, I definitely recommend zennioptical.com just because they are dirt cheap compared
to the ones you get in the store, and honestly, they feel like they're built just the same.
They feel, there's nothing about them that stands out as being worse than ones you get
in the store. And the cool thing about zennioptical is that because they're so cheap, you can
accessorize with them. You can get specific glasses for specific sort of occasions. So
I'm going to put all of the important links in the description bar below including zennioptical.com,
where you can actually, you know, go check out glasses and see which ones you like. But
I have a feeling I'm going to be wearing these glasses for quite a long time, at least until
my prescription gets even worse and I'm really excited about it because I didn't feel like
I was selling an arm or a leg to pay for them so that's awesome. That's seriously awesome.
I just wanted to throw out there that if you're blind like me and you need glasses you don't
have to pay a huge amount of money to get them. You can pay like twelve bucks to whatever
it was to get these ones. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video, check out the description
bar below for important links and uh, places you can contact me and talk to me. Don't forget
