Visit Vacation Rental
Boulevard de Bonne Nouvelle
Les Grands Boulevards - Paris, France
Hello and welcome to another New York Habitat vacation rental video tour.
Today we're going to visit a spacious spacious vacation rental
facing the famous Grands Boulevards in the 2nd district of Paris.
Just steps away from the porte Saint Denis,
this apartment also offers a great view of Montmartre.
Located in a historic and dynamic neighborhood,
it is surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants
as well as authentic French bakeries and clothing boutiques.
Let's take a look.
This apartment of around 1000sf is located on the 4th floor
(5th floor for the US)
in an elevator building.
Upon entering the apartment,
you'll find yourself in a long Parisian-style hallway
which gives access to all rooms in the apartment.
The first room you'll come to is the living room.
The living room is comfortable and rich in books and paintings.
It is separated into two sections.
In the first section you'll find chairs,
a sofa and a decorative marble fireplace.
You'll also find a TV.
In the second section of the living room,
you'll find a table with 4 chairs and another couch
in front of the windows leading to the balcony.
It is from here where you will find an amazing view
of Montmartre and the busy Parisian boulevards below.
Heading back into the hallway,
the next room you'll come to is the first bedroom.
It's equipped with a double sized bed
along with a large mirrored armoire and a small desk by the window.
The second bedroom is semi-oval shaped.
The inlaid door opens between a single size bed and an armoire.
The bedroom has 2 windows with a great view of
the porte Saint Denis.
You'll find a desk in this bedroom as well.
Just next door you'll find the bathroom.
It's equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a sink.
It has two windows,
the smaller of which also has a view of the porte Saint Denis.
The next room you'll find is a utility room
where you'll have access to a washing machine and a dryer.
The kitchen has a long wooden countertop.
It is equipped with a dishwasher,
a coffee maker, a gas stove and oven,
a refrigerator and a microwave.
The kitchen receives light from a window above the sink,
opening up onto a small interior courtyard below.
Now that we've toured the apartment,
let's check out the surrounding neighborhood.
Situated in the heart of Paris,
this apartment is located just in front of the metro station,
Bonne Nouvelle.
So you'll have quick and convenient access to all of Paris.
As mentioned earlier,
the apartment is just a stone's throw away
from the famous porte Saint Denis,
an arc of triumph built in 1672.
While it's now located in the heart of Paris,
believe it or not,
at the time of its construction
it marked the outer limits of the city.
The apartment is located on the boulevard Bonne Nouvelle.
This picturesque boulevard is lined with
cafés, restaurants and boutiques.
If you've got a sweet tooth,
you won't want to miss the Chocolate Museum.
You'll learn of the history of chocolate
as well as how it's made.
Across from the Chocolate Museum,
you'll find the famous Grand Rex with its 1930s architectural style.
It's home to one of the largest cinema rooms in Europe.
Another nearby hot spot is the rue Montorgeuil,
well known for its shops and food.
Browsing the old fashioned boutiques,
you'll get an authentic taste of Parisian charm
along with some great shopping.
