>> Hi, my name is Randy Emory [phonetic]. I'm a Lifeline [phonetic] pilot here at Hershey
Medical Center. This is our helicopter. This is an N3 model aircraft, so the engines are
capable of producing near 1,000 horsepower a piece. You know, we can lose an engine and
continue flight. Nice to know you have a backup. That's what gives it the unique sound.

>> That's the tail rotors spinning at almost 4,000 RPM.

>> Basically a mini ER. It's amazing what they do back here, in flight moving around,
sometimes getting bounced around. Our speed is about 202 miles an hour which for helicopters
is pretty quick. It is a -- a very intricate orchestrated evolution that takes place to
-- to transport one patient.

>> We're required to attempt to get off in five minutes. Now sometimes we can do that
in less than five minutes. Everybody's got their job. Somebody will get the hangar door,
somebody to close the aircraft, I get on the tractor and pull it out, unhook it. It's -- it's
pretty coordinated. Your donations to CMN purchased some isoletics. They help us in
protecting a baby when we transport, and they provide all that's essential needs en route.
It's just very gratifying, you know, to get -- to get in a very capable aircraft, and
-- and take off and accomplish a rewarding mission. It's the satisfaction of seeing,
you know, families healed and mended. It's great to be a part of that. Your donations
to CMN is what helps to keep this resource available to the local community. So give
what you can, and we appreciate it. Thank you.
