Special Education Interview Questions Special education has now become an important
part of every public school and more and more jobs are now becoming available. If you’re
applying for a position in this field, here are a few sample special education interview
questions that the interviewing committee may ask.
How will your assessment program for included students be structured and what steps will
you take to promote student success? As a case manager, what steps do you take
to monitor the progress of assigned students and the success of their programs? What alternatives
do you consider when programs are ineffective? If you could write your own job description,
what elements would you include in your role and why would they be important?
These questions are taken from chapter 16 of Dr ***’s book on special education
interviews where you’ll find more sample interview questions and detailed advice on
how to answer each of them. Dr ***’s book is entitled “Teacher
Interviews : How To Get Them and How To Get hired!” and is regarded as a standard reference
on the subject of teacher interviews. To read readers’ reviews of Dr ***’s
