We are entering a pavilion dedicated to architects
that refer in their work to the information space.
We can find here the work of architectural offices Asymptote and MVRDV.
From MVRDV - the project “Metacity/Datatown”.
From Asymtote the projects:
“Virtual Guggenheim” and “NYSE virtual environment”.
Here we can see a virtual sculpture consisting scripted elements
that are changing their form/size in time.
Because of program errors
the sculpture has freezed in one of its configurations.
By refreshing the script in several elements
I am showing here how the sculpture worked before.
Here we see a multimedia sculpture with my movie
projected on transparent surfaces
and the next teleporter.
Now I will click on the block “History” and will move instantly
back to the “Historical background” space of the model.
I am clicking on the block “Architects”
and move back to the pavilion dedicated to architects.
Now we will turn left and proceed further north,
untill we will reach a projection space
dedicated to my exploration of the Second Life metaverse.
These are fragments of movies
recorded by me during my exploration of the Second Life metaverse.
Here we can see a geisha performance.
Generally my impression about Second Life
is that 99% of its content created by users
is a kind of eclectic emulation of historical forms taken from reality.
We are now at a poetry recitation event
in a kind of historical environment.
The poet is reciting his work live in metaverse.
Here we can see arabian disco.
On the foreground my avatar dances.
Second Life is created by it’s users.
Entartainment content is one of the dominating areas.
Here we can see a popular science meeting “Science Friday”
We are proceeding further and entering a projection room
dedicated to the creative activity of professor Hitenori Watanave
and his group Archidemo
in the Second Live metaverse.
Here we can see the effects of their work
as an installation of the NikkeiBP island in Second Life.
It is the best of a few valuable locations
dedicated to architecture in metaverse
that I have managed to find in Second Life.
Here we can see an installation by professor Hidenori Watanave,
consisting of mobile blocks with projections of different architectural spaces.
We can move between them.
We can enter the specific spaces by clicking on them.
The specific spaces has been created
by mapping panoramic photographs
on the inner surfaces of the mobile blocks.
We are going further north
and moving to the last thematic block in my model,
presenting my series of works entitled “3d structures”.
It is a kind of tunnel build from individual visualisations
from the series “3d structures”.
We can see various kinds of architectural deconstruction,
abstract geometric structures,
abstract organic structures.
Some of them are developed as static pictures.
Others are screenshots of dynamic evolving structures from animations.
We see various stages of deconstruction,
geometric and organic,
we can also see some environments mixed together
and some with the addition of analogue textures.
We are proceeding forward by the tunnel and turning left.
What we can see here is the “multimedia space”
that is the last stage of my work concerning the series “3d structures”
We are entering the multimedia space.
What we will see here is a film with “3d structures”
projected on a 3-dimensional environment.
In this chamber they are projected on an array of cubes
located in a closed 3-dimensional environment.
This is a space build by film,
that we can move through it,
creating the final frames of this film.
When we will move up to the next chamber,
we will see the movies
projected on multiply transparent surfaces connected to each other.
creating another quality of this multimedia space.
The multimedia space is the last stage of this model exploration.
We can see the connection between the tunnel and the multimedia space.
And a wider look at the whole model.
