Is it time to replace the batteries in your Oakton EcoTestr? Have you received the B-A-T
error message? Does it fail to turn on? For best results, change your batteries when your
Eco Testr is at room temperature. To remove the batteries, slide your thumb under the
pocket clip to release the back tab. Leaving your thumb under the pocket clip, loosen the
battery cover with your other hand. Hold the front cover with your fingers and release
the front tab with your thumb to remove the cover. If the cover does not come off easily,
use this alternate method. First, place your thumb under the front tab with your finger
over the top of the battery cover. Place the thumb of your other hand under the back pocket
clip and lift to release. Remove the old batteries and replace them with new ones. When putting
the new battries in, note the polarity guides in the battery compartment. With the new batteries
installed, place the cover with the pocket clip on the back. Push down firmly and lsiten
as the front and back tabs snap into place. Gently tug the cover to ensure a secure fit.
Once again, you're ready to take measurements. No need to recalibrate. The non-volatile memory
retains the calibration. Look to Oakton to meet your pH testing requirements.
