My name is Phillip Beningoso. I'm an investment professional. And I'm going to be discussing
how to invest in the stock exchange. Known informally as the Big Board, the New York
Stock Exchange is the world's largest stock market in terms of volume of capital that
flows through it on a daily basis. The New York Stock Exchange has one thousand and three
hundred and sixty-six seats, which are licensed, paying parties who become the only people
permitted to trade those securities on those exchanges. Let me take you through a few steps
here real quickly that can make this process simple again for you. Step one - set up a
stock market trading account. You can do this by depositing your start up capital with a
traditional brokerage firm or by using one of the many discount brokerage firms around
the country. Two, spend some time following the New York Stock Exchange before you invest.
Three, choose a company to invest in because the New York Stock Exchange lists the topmost
companies on any stock market in the world. Four, research directly and definitively the
companies that you're going to be investing in. Five, search the New York Stock Exchange
listed companies for undervalued companies. You can invest in these undervalued companies
because they are companies that book value or value of the company, the tangible assets
are worth more than the stock prices coming through in the market. And six, use your stockbroker
or your online trading account to buy the shares of that company that's listed on the
New York Stock Exchange. Any information provided here is for informational purposes only and
