FotoMagico is a registered trademark of Boinx Software and I am in no way affiliated with
Boinx Software. In this lesson I'm going to teach you how to change the transition between
slides. By default, I'm going to go ahead and preview my slide show. By default, the
slides are just going to go a straight cut between one another as you can see there.
You can change this, if I select a slide, I'm going to select my first slide here and
come over to the options button at the right and underneath transition. Right now it says
cut, if I click there, I can change this to something else. I'm going to select the dissolve
there. And if I preview it, you'll notice instead of a straight cut, it's going to dissolve
between the two different slides and you know that you have a transition because between
the two slides down here at the bottom, you'll see there's a little icon. That means that
you have a transition. And each transition has a different number of options. If I select,
I'm going to select the twirl, I've got a duration. Most of them have the duration,
but there's also some that have different options. You can choose the direction of your
twirl. I'm going to select, say, cube and you can change the direction of the cube and
can't really go into each, to details of each of the different ones, because there's so
many different types of transitions. But you can play around with this. And also, if you
shift, select multiple slide, you can come up and change the transition type for all
of those and a batch as well. So that's how you change the transition between your different
slides.
