Hi, in this video I show you how to make traditional Polish "Faworki"
To make "Faworki" we need:
500g of flour 50 g of butter 5 egg yolks 150 ml of 18% sour cream 50 ml of alcohol 100g caster sugar 400g lard for frying or oil 4 00:00:48,591 --> 00:00:50,591 First we need to knead the dough
For this you can use a food processor, put all the ingredients.
You need to knead the dough about 10 minutes.
Put kneaded dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Melt lard over low heat.
For frying "Faworki" we can only use lard.
Take out the dough from the refrigerator and rolled without using flour.
Cut the dough into strips
Each strip cut into pieces and cut in the middle.
We put portion of the strip in the hole in the strip.
Heat the lard to 180 degrees
It is ready when the "Faworek" flows out immediately.
You have to turn it over to the other side.
Put "Faworki" on a plate lined with paper.
Sprinkle with caster sugar
