Depending on the program, the way this spring is being coiled the wire is being fed through
the feed rolls is coming along through the wire guide and is being held by the coiling
point. The coiling point holds the wire against the mandrel and causes the diameter to be
smaller. When the coiling point moves back, the center diameter will grow bigger, the
coiling point will come, back to the smaller diameter, and then it will cut off. That’s
how the process is for a Barrel Spring or an Antenna Spring.
