Congratulations! Choosing FedEx Delivery Manager takes you a step toward more efficient package
delivery. Customize deliveries to your home to get your package into your hands, your
way.
With FedEx Delivery Manager, you can view packages that are being delivered to, or shipped
from, your home address even without tracking numbers.
You can set your preferences so you’ll be notified of key events, such as when your
package is on the way.
You can request to schedule the day and time of your home delivery, redirect your packages
to another address, have us hold them at a FedEx location you choose, or sign for them
online.
And, you can provide specific instructions on where you would like FedEx to leave your
packages or when to hold them while you’re on vacation.
Start at fedex.com/delivery. If you have a fedex.com username and password,
log in to begin enrollment.
Or, if you do not have a fedex.com user ID, then select to sign up.
First you will create a fedex.com user ID, if you do not have one.
Once you have a user ID, you will need to confirm or provide your residential address
information.
To ensure the security of the enrollment process, this next section requires you to validate
your identity.
You will need to answer three questions correctly.
In the next step, you can choose to receive notifications for the events you select.
You must provide your contact information for notifications.
Now sign-up is complete.
From here, you can start customizing your deliveries, or review or setup your delivery
preferences.
Let’s view your deliveries.
Now that you’re enrolled, you can login to view your deliveries from the FedEx Delivery
Manager home page.
Or, you can login from the fedex.com home page and select “View All My Shipments.”
If you check the “Remember me” option, fedex.com will show this page whenever you
login.
FedEx Delivery Manager lets you look at packages coming to, or shipped from, your home address.
You can view them by selecting the list format or calendar format.
The list displays delivery details and status. You can customize and sort by preference.
The calendar format displays your packages by shipper name or recipient name on the date
they are scheduled to arrive.
You can move backward and forward in the date range by clicking the arrows next to the dates.
In both views, deliveries are visible up to 15 days from the ship date if they haven’t
been delivered. After delivery, they are visible up to 4 days.
A pull down menu lets you filter inbound for packages to be delivered to your home or outbound
for packages you have shipped using your home address. The default sets to “All.”
The screen displays your packages by delivery address. If you have more than one delivery
address, you can switch between addresses.
In the list view, you can add and sort columns to display the details you need.
FedEx Delivery Manager offers several features to help you track the status of your packages.
Want to see a particular package? You can search for a delivery by entering the tracking
number, shipper name, package status, package pick up date, or package estimated delivery
date in the “Search” text box.
If you’re eagerly awaiting a package, you can also add it to your watch list by selecting
the star icon for the package. The star icon will turn yellow when it’s added to your
watch list to distinguish it from your other packages.
To monitor the status of multiple packages, check the boxes and select the “Add to watch
list” button. To remove them, click the star.
Nickname your deliveries with the pencil icon in the list view. For example, you can name
a delivery “Mom’s birthday gift.”
To remove deliveries from your list, choose the deliveries and select the remove delivery
icon.
Now that you’re familiar with these features, let’s look at how you can customize deliveries
to your home.
When tracking the status of deliveries to your home, you may want to customize when
and where they are delivered. Simply select the package you want to customize.
There are six delivery options. Only the options eligible for your package will appear.
Options include “Schedule your delivery” and “Deliver to another address,” as well
as, free options such as “Hold at FedEx Location” and “Sign for a package.”
“Provide delivery instructions” and “Request vacation hold” options are also available
at no charge and apply to all your packages.
Let’s start with scheduling. Select “Schedule your delivery” to select a date, a time,
or a date and time combination.
You can choose to schedule your delivery in the evening on the original estimated delivery
date. Or, you can select a different date up to seven calendar days after the original
estimated delivery date.
For even greater convenience, you can select a specific 2-hour window.
Once you indicate your selection, you will see the applicable fee.
For payment, enter your credit card information. You may save this credit card for future use.
You will see a screen where you can review payment information and a new delivery schedule.
Select the submit button to generate a confirmation screen and email.
Your selected delivery option will be shown on the details screen when you track the package’s
status. From here you can edit or cancel the option, if eligible.
Another customizing option is “Deliver to Another Address.”
You can enter a new address, such as your neighbor’s address, your office address
or an address across the country.
You can also choose your new delivery date.
You'll be able to review and confirm all applicable fees associated with your selection.
FedEx Delivery Manager also provides convenient options that are free of charge.
You can select “Hold at FedEx Location,” which allows you to pick up your package on
your schedule at the FedEx location of your choice within 5 days.
This feature will show you the first four locations closest to you. To view other locations,
select next.
You can also select a location and view directions.
Once you select your location, you can review the information and confirm your phone number.
Select “Continue,” and you will see the confirmation page.
Another available feature is “Sign for a Package.”
You can do this in advance of a delivery that requires a signature and authorize FedEx to
leave the shipment, even if no one is home to receive it.
The only exceptions are packages that require a signature from a resident or an adult at
the address.
You can sign online or use a printable form.
From the customize delivery option menu, you can also choose options that apply to all
your packages.
To specify where you want your packages left at your home, select “Provide Delivery Instructions.”
The menu lets you choose to have your packages left at the front door, back door, side door,
garage, security guard post, or apartment office.
And you can provide details to help the driver find your address.
You can also ask us to hold your packages while you’re away. To do this, select "Request
a vacation hold" and select a date range to suspend all deliveries to your address.
The vacation hold can last up to 14 days, and FedEx will resume normal delivery on the
first business day after the end date. You can turn this option off at any time.
Now, let’s look at how you can manage deliveries to your home by setting your preferences.
If you want to monitor your additional addresses or names — including alternate spellings
or nicknames – or update your address or credit card information, you can log into
fedex.com and view your FedEx Delivery Manager preferences within My Profile.
With “preferences” you can manage your notification
settings to get the package updates you want, the way you want to receive them.
If you add an additional home address for delivery customization, you will be required
to validate again.
If you move or change your name, please remember to also update your information in the “Delivery
Address” section. This section should contain your up to date name and address where you
receive deliveries.
Now, you’re ready to start customizing your home deliveries to get your packages into
your hands when and where you want them.
If you have additional questions, please review the help documents within FedEx Delivery Manager
or contact FedEx customer service.
