Hi, my name is David with Expert Village and I’m going to show you how to adjust glasses.
Now we’re going to discuss how to tell when the temple piece on a full plastic frame is,
needs to be adjusted. When you wear your glasses and they are sitting crooked, take your glasses
off your face and place them on a level surface and you will notice that one side is sitting
higher than the other. Normally this indicates that the temple itself needs to be adjusted.
On a full plastic frame normally your temple is different because it is wider on this section
here. Also the only adjustments that can be made on the temple for a full plastic frame
is at the screw hinge itself. In order to straighten out the frame you will grasp it
like so, grasp the temple piece and you will bend either up or down depending on how the
temple piece needs to be adjusted. And that’s how you adjust the temple on a full plastic
frame.
