To be honest, like before I came here,
I didn't even know that Oklahoma was a state.
Before I know I can apply for exchange student here,
I've never heard Oklahoma.
When you hear Oklahoma,
You think of desert and ghost towns and cowboys.
When I got here,
But actually when you get here,
I feel like oh my gosh.
It's like some leafy green place, which actually resembles England a lot.
So familiar to my home city.
The people who are here are very friendly and nice.
The people here are extremely nice.
I also think that a lot of places like San Francisco,
New Jersey, Boston...
People there are cool. They are not talkative to you.
Since the life is lower here,
People have the patience to talk to you.
There's always something going on.
I have participated in two big events,
Mr. OU and Sooners Got Talent.
My major is Journalism
And this semester, I worked at the OU Daily.
The students' newspaper.
You get involved in this community atmosphere
Which is totally different from being back in English universities.
I got a host family.
My host family has been really important.
She is so nice.
They take me out for dinner and as soon as I got here,
They gave me a ride from the airport.
He takes me to shopping, to get groceries...
They just took me everywhere.
The facilities inside are really nice and also the professors.
The professors here are very approachable.
Yeah, they try to help us out everywhere.
They really care about us.
They are the best.
So definitely the good place to study here.
I've been to an NBA game.
That was really fun. That was REALLY fun actually.
And that was put on by the International College.
Middle school, I was really obsessed about NBA games.
And I was thrilled to go to the game.
Oh my gosh, this is just like my dream came true.
And the restaurants are really good.
There's always something going on.
I love Couch Restaurants. I love the food there.
I really like Cafe Plaid. I think it's my favorite place.
You can go to bars here in Norman or even to Oklahoma City.
Basically I love all the restaurants and the shops here. Like all the unique boutique places are so nice.
If you like American football, OU is the place to be.
My favorite event here is the OU football games.
It's kinda like a festival here.
At the games, there's always tons of people wearing Crimson and Cream.
And it's a huge atmosphere.
There were like more than 80,000 people here.
And it made a little college. That's mind blowing!
It's huge. It's bigger than our biggest international stadium.
This is the real part of America.
You will definitely have the best time here.
It's just one big family and it's so nice to be involved in that.
I really want to stay one more semester.
It may be the best decision I've ever made to come to OU.
I have had the best experience here of my life.
Welcome to Oklahoma.
