Welcome to InteliDOX! This video is intended for InteliDOX system administrators who may
wish to adjust the levels of drug-to-drug and drug-to-allergy interaction warnings that
are automatically displayed as new prescriptions are created.
If you're not already familiar with interaction warnings in InteliDOX, please watch our "Drug
Interaction Warnings for End Users" video to see how warnings are displayed to prescribers.
By default, InteliDOX displays all levels of interaction warnings—everything from
"mild" to "fatal"—but repeated warnings about "mild" interactions that your prescribers
are already well aware of may result in so-called "alert fatigue."
To adjust the severity levels of interaction warnings, click the [Security] button, then
the [Drug Interactions Setup] button. Uncheck the boxes for severity levels that you don't
want displayed to users. For example, if you don't want prescribers to see alerts for drug-to-allergy
interactions if the allergy has been classified as "mild" in InteliDOX, you could uncheck
the "mild" box here. You may not want the system to display alerts for drug combinations
that have no known interactions or when no action is needed for that drug combo, so you
could uncheck these boxes. When you're finished making changes, be sure to click the [Save]
button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
If you have any questions about adjusting interaction warnings in InteliDOX, please

option #2.
