Hi guys, it's Alexis from xoxo alexis leigh and today I'm going to be showing you how to do 3 different makeup tutorials all using the same 3 eye shadows from Redeeming Beauty which
is an Etsy shop but I will be doing a review on them on my blog. Let me go through what those eye shadows are and the actual color of them
real quick.
So, the first one is faerie wings which is a
light shimmery pink
and it's a really really really gorgeous color. Let's see if we can
gets that on camera
right there
The next one I'm using is a dark brown shimmer and
that one is called
Dryad or something, I don't know, I can't really pronounce it
it's really pretty
there we go. And the last one I'm using is like
a grayish brown
color with like teal shimmer. It's really interesting and really pretty. And that one is called
Forest Faerie
can't really see the shimmer in there (on camera) I don't think
but they're all really pretty.
Anyway
ummm
let's get to it! Oh that was awkward...
for this first look I call it
hot summer and it basically includes the three things that I personally love
about summer
light makeup, bright colors, and some shimmer.
So first think I'm going to do for this look is apply Forest Faerie to my
crease
I like to apply it very light and very sheer but it depends on your personal
preference
After that I'm going to pat on Faerie Wings onto my eyelid.
I really like how this color brightens and
makes my eyes pop against
the darker color.
After that I'm just going to line my eyes with Dryad.
Next I'm going to apply a pinky peach blush.
After that, I'm applying a berry or pink
lip tint.
And I'm going to top that off with a sheer pink gloss.
Now I'm going to apply some black mascara although you can use any color you want.
And here's the finished look.
Next, I have a look that I call Smoked Out and in parentheses you can see I wrote
mint chocolate chip
because these two colors that I mainly used
seriously remind me of mint chocolate chip ice cream!
So the first thing I am going to do is I am going to take forest fairy
and use that,
oops, I'm sorry.
I am going to use Dryad all over my eyelid
as well as in my crease.
and I use a lot of this color just to create a really smokey effect.
Next, I'm going to take a wet angled eyeliner brush and dip that in some Forest Faerie
and use that to line my upper eyelid.
I really like the effect that Forest Faerie gives with the wet application because
it creates a really vibrant
and teal shimmered eyeshadow and I really like the combination of that with the
dark brown of Dryad.
Next I'm going to apply a little bit of Forest Faerie under my waterline as well.
After that I'm going to put just a little bit of Fairy Wings in my
waterline.
Now I'm going to curl my lashes to make my eyes really pop.
Then I am going to apply some black mascara.
Next I am going to take a dark contouring powder to use under my pretty much nonexistent
cheekbones
as well as my temples and under my jaw line.
I didn't want to use blush because I felt like it would've totally thrown off
the look and would've made it look a little bit overdone.
Now I'm going to take a nude colored lip gloss and apply that to my lips.
I really like the way that this pairs with the eyeshadow and
the um, contouring powder.
And here's the finished look! I have to say that this look is my favorite
out of all three.
Last we have the trio and this combines all of the eyeshadows like the
other looks
except this one is a little bit darker and more night time appropriate.
The first thing I'm going to do is take a cream eyeshadow in an off white
or vanilla color and apply that to my eyelid.
i'm just going to blend that real quick.
Then I'm going to take Dryad and apply that to the outer corner of my eyelid.
you have don't to worry too much about blending because I am going to fix that
in a second.
The reason I used a cream eyeshadow for the base was to make the colors
really vibrant and pop.
now I'm going to take forest, I'm sorry, I'm going to take Fairy Wings
and apply that to the inner corner of my eyelid as well as under my eyelid and a little bit
under my waterline.
I'm also going to use Faerie Wings
to blend the two colors together.
Next I'm going to take Dryad and apply that in my crease. I like to apply it out
and up to create an elongating and cat eye effect.
Make sure you blend the edges really well.
After that I'm going to take Dryad and apply that under my waterline to create a really
smoky effect.
Here I'm just patting on a bit more Faerie Wings to make it a bit brighter.
Now I'm going to take dark brown kohl eyeliner and use that to my and my
waterline
as well as a little bit of my tight line although I have a serious problem
lining my tight line;
my eye sort of spazzez out!
After that I am going to line the upper eyelid and I'm going to wing it out sort of
following the line that I used for
for the eyeshadow, Dryad.
Now I am just going to take a matte white eyeshadow to highlight
under my eyebrow.
And now I'm going to apply a bunch black mascara to
make my eyes pop and open them up.
After that I am going to take a pretty coral blush with tons of gold shimmer and
apply that onto my cheekbones.
Then, I am going to take a
coral-ish pink
lip gloss and apply that to my lips, obviously haha.
And that's the finished look! I hope you guys enjoyed these tutorials!
