I'm very passionate about wrestling.
Wrestling has been a big part of my life.
My first Olympic experience was bittersweet.
Making the Olympic team in 2008 was just
so, so real for me.
The moment that I was in a position to bring home a
medal, I lost in the semi-final round match.
That was heartbreaking.
I lost the first ever Olympic gold
medalist in women's wrestling.
And in 2012 it was kind of like redemption.
I had to beat her for the bronze medal in 2012.
And I did it!
I'm Clarissa Chun, 2012 Olympic bronze medalist in
women's wrestling.
I am working with eBay and the BeInspired campaign to give
back to a nonprofit organization
that's close to my heart.
So I decided to give back to Westside Wrestling Kauai Club.
So it's a very new club in Hawaii.
They are in their first year of wrestling.
They haven't had wrestling in their high
school programs ever.
So I'm going to make a purchase on eBay, find one,
hopefully bid on one, or I can buy it now.
And hand delivering it to this club in Kauai and put smiles
across everyone's faces.
[LAUGHS]
I think it's important to give back, because you never know
whose life you're going to touch.
Growing up, I've been very fortunate to have come across
many wonderful people who have touched my life.
I couldn't think of a better way to give thanks than to
just continue that circle.
