Hey guys. Today I'm going to give you a tutorial
on how to upload a video to you too YouTube while giving it a Creative Commons
Attribution License. This is actually in
integrated feature YouTube which is very nifty and makes
the process relatively simple and quick. It's only gonna require
a few extra clicks. Now before we get started
this is a reminder that giving a video an Attribution License
requires that the video contains nothing you do not have the rights to share.
For example Eminem music,
clips from Pirates of the Caribbean, and photos that you just pulled off the
internet.
Alright, back to obtaining a license
First, obviously you need an account, so make sure you are logged in
then click the Upload button
then find the file in your computer and
click OK. You guys know how to do this. This is the simple part
Now you're gonna fill in the title blah blah blah
and the description and tags:
and all that wonderful jazz.
But, in order to create a Creative Commons license you need to go to the additional settings tab
Once in the additional settings tab there are two
options under the license. The standard YouTube License
and the Creative Commons license. By default
it is the standard YouTube License. But, we're gonna change this one
to a Creative Commons Attribution License
As soon as you click on the attribution license its gonna apply it;
there's no need to find a Save button. you changes are automatically saved
now once you're upload is complete you can visit your video
on YouTube and...
Ah...here it is you can see a Creative Commons
Attribution License reuse allowed.
Now the world knows they can use this in anyway they desire to make any kind of
creative works, or whatever they are going to do with it.
Thanks for watching
