Welcome to MyCaseBuilder. In this video we are going to learn how to use the Photo Tracer.
To start, click the Photo Tracer button at the top of the page. Then click the Browse
button to select a photo you've taken of your item or taken off the internet. For this demonstration,
we're going to be using a non-transparent JPG. Use the Zoom slider in the upper right
hand corner to adjust the view of your item. When you're ready to start, choose a point
anywhere along your image and click, then trace your image point to point using the
pencil tool. if you'd like you can make perfectly straight lines by holding the shift button
down as you draw. once you get all the way around your item and back to the start, the
initial point will enlarge to show you you are in the right spot. When you click your
traced item will become a shape. Next, you can adjust your points by using any of the
three buttons at the top. To add a point, simply click anywhere along the outline you've
made. The move points button will let you adjust its location. You can also delete any
unnecessary points as well. When you're finished click the next button to scale your item to
the proper size. Your item's length is measured from left to right, and the depth is the height
of your item or how deep it will sit in the foam. Click Go and your tracing will become
a shape on your canvas. Move it into position, click the refresh button and you'll be able
to see exactly what your shape will look like in your foam. Thanks for using MyCaseBuilder
and have fun making your foam!
