So Hideo Kojima the creator of Metal Gear Solid says that Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes
and Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain is going to be vastly different from that of
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots. Kojima tweeted that is was nonsense to compared
his latest effort MGSV To MGS4. Due to it's open world nature and non-liner playstyle.
Now call me old fashioned but when I heard the news about Metal Gear Solid V being open
world. I was disappointed. Now hear me out! Open world games are fun! But it seems to
me that story's within those open world games can really diminish the overall value of the
story. Be it getting lost, getting sidetracked, and just messing around. I have been a hardcore
fan of Metal Gear Solid ever since it's PlayStation release in 1998. Hell, I should say ever since
the Pizza hut demo disc back in the day when pizza hut used demo disc's for the PlayStation
1 to sell more pizza's. Pizza and demo's life was good back then!
Anyhow! For those of you who hasn't heard the news on the Ground Zeroes. It's going
to be about a 4 hour long game releasing at the price point of 30 dollars. Kojima says
not worry that you could get about 8 hours out the game doing side missions and lots
of wondering around. With the price drop I can't complain. However Ground Zeroes will
be launching on March 18th for the Xbox360, Xboxone, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4!
Also with a limited amount of PS4 console selling bundles in Japan. So what do you think?
Do you think that Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes is a downward slant of the series with
it's change in playstyle and open world gaming? If your getting Metal Gear Solid Ground Zero's
what will it be new gen or old gen? Let me know below! Don't forget to like, comment,
