bjbj David: OK, some emails here. Justin writes, "I saw your show on Free Speech TV. You are
possibly the worst talk show host I have ever seen or heard." Louis: I agree. David: "How
is your show nonpartisan? You are a bad host, and wish you well, but I'm afraid you will
never rise above your partisan views." If Justin can't tell that we're not pretending
to be nonpartisan, there's nothing I can say in response that will be of any importance
to him, right? Louis: I guess not. David: So we'll move on. Tim writes, "Love your show.
Found it by accident on YouTube while listening to Keith Olbermann, and then heard your point-by-point
analysis of Clint McCance and your interview with racist Glenn Miller. I will be passing
along your show to friends who are here in San Francisco, the leftist capital of the
country as you know we are referred to." You know, I was in San Francisco a few months
go. When I was there, I seem to, I must've run into every conservative element while
I was there. I don't know if it was where I was, or I don't know what it was. While
there were the leftist components that people talked about, it actually seemed like a pretty
reasonable city. Louis: Well, I was there for a short time too, but not enough to really
pick up on any political environment. David: Anonymous email from a California IP address.
"Hey everyone. David Pakman is a dirty little immigrant. What did you think, because you
were light-skinned and from snotty Argentina that you don't deserve to be called a dirty
Mexican? You're a joke, dude. Kill yourself. Deport Pakman!" You know, I am a citizen now,
so I've been naturalized. So hopefully I can't get deported for having a... I don't know,
for being from "snotty Argentina". Is that a deportable offense? Louis: Not yet. David:
[Laughs] OK. Adam writes: "Can we please stop referring to people who are anti-Islamic bigots
as being racist? Islam is not a race of people. Referring to those that decry Islam as racist
is just as ignorant as the hatemongers who hold those opinions." You know, Adam is right.
Louis: Yeah, but sometimes we just use the word "racist" instead of "bigotry". David:
That's right. Sometimes it's the easiest way to describe the motivations behind the sentiments.
However, we get the same comment when we talk about racism against Jews, and people say,
"Jews aren't a race." You know, people don't seem to get the racial component of Judaism.
You can be of the Jewish religion, and you can be ethnically Jewish, right? I mean, there's
Ashkenazi Jews, there's Sephardic Jews. And a perfect example is, if it were just the
religion, then Tay-Sachs wouldn't run among Jews. There is an ethnic component there.
If you convert to Judaism, you obviously don't have that, but there is, of course, that component.
Kind of irritating when people don't get that. www.DavidPakman.com, we'll see you on the
bonus show, plenty to talk about. See you on Thursday. Announcer: The David Pakman Show
