Interviewer: You had a really emotional season. You've got a bedroom
for the first time...
Jensen Ackles: Yeah.
Interviewer: ...in years. A real home, and you're reconnected with your
brother.
Jensen: Yes.
Interviewer: How is that going to affect you going into season 9?
Jensen: Well, I mean, Dean has a home base now. And I think that having
some roots goes a long way. I think it's a very humanistic quality for
people to want to have a sense of belonging. So the fact that he has this
place that he can, you know, that they can retreat to, that they can go
back to, that he can call his home, and has a bed. I think it's a good
thing for Dean.
Sam is a little less, it's a little less about being a home, and more
about being a place of work. So, you know, it's different for the brothers,
but I think it works well. It serves them both well in different ways.
Interviewer: Jim Beaver made a tweet about coming back to the show.
Might he have been an angel, and perhaps fell to the ground?
Jensen: This is why I'm not on Twitter, is because I don't believe any
of it. I don't know what to believe. I'll just get my news from the Cartoon
Network. Yeah, I don't know.
Interviewer: Would you like to work with him again?
Jensen: Of course. Yeah. He's a fan favorite and a set favorite, you
know? Jim's great. Jim is going to do great wherever he goes, but yeah,
absolutely. There's a laundry list of characters and actors that we love
working with, and would love to come back and, you know, be a part of the
show, again. But it ultimately has to fit the story, and if it doesn't fit
the story, then we just get to see them at Comi-con.
