>> Hi and welcome to a new video from the 30 days of Christmas serie
Today I'm going to show you how to create a Christmas wreath using twine
some artificial flowers and a ribbon
just like this one!
If you missed the previous posts and videos from the serie
just visit my blog
and you'll find all the other Christmas related projects I already uploaded
and I've got many others ready for you because the serie goes on for other 15 days
with a new post every day.
Now let's get to today's project!
We will need:
hot glue,
scissors,
a styrofoam wreath base,
some artificial flowers,
ribbon
and some twine.
First of all we need to cover the styrofoam base with the twine
so let's stick to the base one end of the twine with hot glue
and let's start wrapping it applying some more hot glue here and there to keep ot in place.
Once we covered the majority of the styrofoam base
let's glue down the end of the twine using hot glue.
As you can see I didn't cover completely the base
because this will make the next step easier.
Now let's grab the artificial flowers
and let's remove them from the stems, this way.
Now that the flowers are ready we can glue them to the base
using hot glue and gently pressing down
in order to stick the back side into the styrofoam, like this.
Here is the base with glued flowers!
In order to easily hang the wreath
we need to create a hook
so let's grab some twine and wrap it around the base
tying it up on itself twice this way.
Let's cut out the exceeding twine
et voilà, our hook is ready!
As last step we need to tie a bow with the ribbon,
as you can see I needed an help
because this is the easiest way to tie a puffy and even bow.
Wrap the ribbon around the two fingers
then tie it in the middle just like I'm doing.
Let's cut out the exceeding ribbon
and our ribbon is ready
we just need to hot glue it to the wreath.
Et voilà our wreath is done
ready to be hanged on your door!
Ok, that's all for today
