Hi! My name is Peter. I'm a designer and
a paper artist. Welcome to the second part of my
flower pop up card tutorial. Now I will show you,
how you can create the three-dimensional leaves
for the pop up card. You will find the link to the template in the description
below this video. Remember that the flower pop up card is made from different sorts
of paper.
Now it's time to print out the pages 4 & 5.
Remember that you don't have to use my design. You can make your own design
because I also created a white template for you.
Please note that these pages must be printed on stronger paper than the
pages 1, 2 and 3.
I recommend, that you use paper with a weight between 160 g/m²
and 270 g/m².
You may also print the templates on colored paper.
Crease all red dashed lines with an empty ball pen.
There are only two creases on page four. Then you should crease all red lines
on page five.
Now it's time to cut out all the pieces.
On part one there are two shaded flaps
marked with "A" and "B". Fold them backwards.
Repeat this for the shaded flaps of part two.
They are marked with the letters "J" and "K".
All shaded flaps on parts 3 & 4 must be folded backwards.
Each of these parts has one extra folding line
that leads right across the motif. Fold the pieces backwards
along this line.
All parts of the supports must be folded backwards
along the red dashed lines.
Now it's time to print page six which will become the baking sheet of the
pop up card.
Remember that you can also use colored paper for the backing sheet.
Use strong paper with a weight between 160 g/m²
and 270 g/m². Crease the folding line with an empty ball pen
fold the backing sheet forward
along the creased line. Cut out all gray lines.
Use a ruler and a cutting knife. Don't forget to use a cutting mat.
Fold the whole page backwards and cut of
all black lines. Remember to use a cutting mat.
Fold the backing sheet forward again.
Now you have created all parts that are needed to build the pop-up card.
In the last part of my tutorial I will show you the
assembling off all pieces. Bye for now. I hope to see you soon!
