Hi, I'm Kris Sorbie from Redken
and I'm here to tell you how Redken For Men Color Camo
can give you the professional edge.
In 2004 Redken was the first professional company
to offer hair color formulated specifically for men.
Redken for Men Color Camo 10 Minute Camouflage Color
provided a 10 minute gray-blending solution
and a new revenue opportunity for salons.
Continuing its commitment to innovation
Redken now introduces New Advance Technology
Color Camo 5 to 10 Minute Custom Gray Camouflage.
Color Camo is part of the Redken for Men line
and is the fastest solution for men's gray hair
with the most benefits.
Its ammonia-free permanent dye technology
delivers demi-permanent results.
It's recommended for any level of hair
that is 50% gray or less and ensures subtle,
low-maintenance results with no visible lift.
The formula contains protein and quinoa oil
to add a shot of strength and shine.
It was formulated for improved processing time
in the light and medium shades
and provides cooler tonality.
The five minute processing time is for blending gray
and it's for the man who's never experience color before
and may be reluctant to try.
Applied at the shampoo bowl, it's a quick, discrete service
providing natural looking results
to build a man's confidence and interest
in future Color Camo services.
Color Camo blends the same amount of gray in five minutes
that it used to do in 10.
When using for dark shades, always process for 10 minutes
due to the concentration of dyes.
Color Camo's increased gel-like viscosity
adheres to coarse, gray hair without dripping.
The darker color formulas increase visibility
to ensure proper application and the improved fragrance
makes the applications discrete and pleasant.
Color Camo saves you valuable salon time
and your male clients can be in and out
before anyone notices.
The Color Camo palette includes six shade options,
three ash tones and three natural tones
in light, medium and dark.
The ash colors have a gray background color
with a blue/violet tone and provide a smoky end result.
The natural tones have a gray background with a green/gold tone
and these provide a cool/gold result.
Color Camo shades are formulated
with customized dyes for natural results.
It does not cover gray hair completely.
It's formulated to camouflage the gray hair
and blend it with pigmented hair color.
It's important to stay within the client's natural range
when selecting a shade.
Mix Color Camo shades with 10 volume Pro-Oxide
Cream Developer in a one-to-one ratio.
Start your applications in the area
where the hair is grayest.
For most men it's the temple area, top or hairline.
Don't overlap with hair that's been previously colored.
Processing time begins when the application is finished
or after the first three minutes
from the beginning of the application.
For gray blending with the light and medium ranges
process only for 5 minutes.
For deeper, darker coverage
or when using the dark range shades,
process for 10 minutes.
Process Color Camo at room temperature.
Keep in mind Color Camo processes quickly
so every minute counts when applying and processing.
After repeated services any hair color will get darker
when applied to previously colored hair.
If the ends are darker as a result of repeated applications
you may only want to pull through the ends as needed
for the last one minute.
A bottle application is recommended for speed,
however, bowl and brush can be used,
and always apply to dry or towel-dried hair.
Ready to see Color Camo at work?
Let's get started.
This is Shawn.
During our Art of Consultation
we found that his hair is of coarse diameter,
medium density and is in good condition.
And Shawn is a natural level four with less than 50% gray
with a higher percentage at the temples.
Let's get started.
Prepare the hair with Hair Cleansing Cream
and apply Color Camo to towel-dried hair.
Apply immediately after mixing.
We're starting the application where the hair is grayest,
at the temples.
Use an applicator bottle and move quickly,
completely saturating the hair.

Shawn is a natural level four
and the Color Camo formula we're using is Medium Ash
mixed with equal parts of 10 volume Pro-oxide Cream Developer.

Complete the application within two to thee minutes
and begin timing immediately.
For gray blending set the timer for five minutes.
Rinse thoroughly,
then shampoo and condition with Redken for Men Go Clean Shampoo
and Finish Up Conditioner.
