hey everyone Jennifer from Tarle speech with your reading tip today we are going
to talk about a very common mistake based on a two letter spelling
combination that we see all the time the letters are n G and you say this often
we are actually going to pronounce those two letters as one sound the ng sound so
to make this sound you're going to place the tip of your tongue behind the back
of your bottom front teeth and the back of your tongue is going to be pulled
towards the roof of your mouth ng so again two letters ng that are pronounced
as one sound ng I actually used the phonetic transcription here and as you
know I really don't like these because people are too worried about actually
how you spell it phonetically instead of how you pronounce it or how it sounds
but I'm using this just to make a point one sound for those two letters we hear
this sound in sing wrong and *** I'm actually going to add something here we
see this combination often in the I n G combination so we can actually add this
to singing singing singing so you can have two ING's there and they're both
pronounced with only one sound so let's try those words again sing wrong ***
give it a try I know people are going to notice the difference if you found this
